Overview: The Rainbow Rim Trail located at North Rim of the Grand Canyon is perfect for mountain biking because when the National Forest Service cut this trail, they used the shortest distances possible with balanced out elevation changes, to connect the 5 grand view points, that overlook the Grand Canyon!!!

To reach the location you will drive 20 miles of dirt road from the nearest paved highway out to one of the points. Then if you choose to drive a vehicle from point to point, expect to drive an additional 10-15 miles (dirt road) one way just to reach another point.

Tips: Camp at locust pt and out in back each direction of the trail...
No services what so ever...Subject to season closures and extreme fire restrictions. Close to North Rim National Park and Arizona Trail. Information available at Kaibab National Forest, Jacob Lake, Visitor Center.
