Overview: Portage Creek Trail is about 7.7 miles long and located near Portage, Michigan. The trail is great for walking and normally takes 1-3 hours.

Several Parks are connected using the Portage Creek Bicentennial Trail.

Portage Creek Bicentenial Park

Celery Flats

South Westnedge Park

West Lake Nature Preserve

Schrier Park

I will add the other trails at each park at a later date.

Tips: The boardwalk at South Westnedge Park was built using Superdecks which have holes in the boards to allow water to pass through.  Any area that is laying on water has a great tendency to splash muck or water five feet into the air, leaving you with muck or at the very least water all over your clothing.  Believe the signs when they say "Potential for wet shoes".
