Overview: Pinnacle Peak is about 3.7 miles long and located near Desert Highlands, Arizona. The trail is great for hiking or running and normally takes 1-3 hours.

I love this hike. It's the type of hike that can give you a good workout without being overly stressful or difficult. The problem is that everyone knows this so the trail can be rather crowded.

With the very well maintained surface this is also a popular hike for runners so be aware that you may need to do some dodging from time to time.

There's a useful ranger type station at the trail-head for local info and help.

Tips: Very popular hike and parking is limited. Expect to park on the street.
NO dogs.

Very popular and well maintained. Can be overcrowded at times but well worth it. Good for an easy hike or a trail run. No dogs allowed.
