Overview: Panama City Beach, Florida is a popular college spring break destination but that does not mean that families aren't welcome. There are plenty of activities that will keep you and your children busy all day long. The beach may be your first stop, but be sure to visit some of the other family friendly activities that Panama City has to offer. Depending on the ages of your children and their interests, you may choose to visit only one activity all day or you may wish to spend a few hours at several different activities in one day.

Tips: A great time to visit Panama City Beach is either late spring or early fall. It is still warm enough to enjoy water activities, walks, and outside play but it isn't too humid. Plan to spend more than one day to complete all of these activities and allow yourself plenty of time to visit each one. You can complete more than one activity each day if you wish. For example, in one day we visited Shipwreck Island Water Park until mid afternoon and then we headed to Pier Park for a late lunch and rides at the Miracle Strip. This made for a full day! Consider the ages of your children and their interests as you plan each day.

Coconut Creek Family Fun Park

The Coconut Creek Family Fun Park offers both mini golf and a chance to find your way out of a maze that is the size of a football field. Wander through the maze while looking for four stations where you punch a card. Once you find all four stations, make your way out of the maze. There are several exits around the outside of the maze so if you get anxious about being in the tight space, you can escape! Kids under six play for free so this is a fun family activity without breaking the budget. Bring bottled water into the maze because it gets very hot during the summertime.
