Miller Rock 4x4 Trail

Overview: Lesser used area is entirely land locked by private property except where forest road enters between houses. Fun, challenging terrain. Great views from top of Miller Rock. Popular hiking area. Good for unlicensed vehicles except no place to park at start. Drive in 0.1 miles to small spot. Trail is open all year, weather permitting. You can exit through private Glacier View Ranch on 252A, but you must call ahead a few days to arrange to have them unlock gate. They are friendly to 4-wheelers and do this as a courtesy. Difficult. Steep, rocky climb to enter. Tight trees, but no difficult spots on 523. Choice of moderate or difficult route to Miller Rock. South of Point #3 is steep and very narrow with intimidating ledge near bottom.

Tips: Start of trail is very odd. Turn right at mailbox #2025 . You actually go up someones driveway that splits 3 ways. Go down the middle to the right of small garage. Forest Road 252 is not marked until you drive in a short distance. Entrance is narrow with tight brush.
