Overview: The top of this peak has experienced some tree growth which unfortunately has blocked a lot of the great views. Perhaps if you climb on top of the massive pile of rocks that mark the summit you'll be able to see more of the surrounding White Mountains. The trail up is steep but enjoyable. Be careful of the Zealand Road closings as in early spring the 2.5 mile drive in from 302 might be added to your walking distance!

Tips: Hale Brook Trailhead:
This is located 2.5 miles south down the Zealand road which departs from Route 302 about 2 miles east of the intersection of 302 and Rte. 3.

Summit of Mt. Hale

A big pile of rocks (cairn) marks the summit of this 4,054' peak. The trees at the top have gotten pretty tall to be able to get any really clear views unfortunately.
