Overview: Maple Canyon is a fabulous place in general to explore, full of incredible rock climbing routes, slot canyons, and pristine forest. While in Maple Canyon, venture down a well-used trail up to the Arch. This is a natural archway that extends over an alcove on the south side of the Middle Fork of Maple Canyon. Once at the arch there are many bouldering opportunities to get a higher vantage point of the arch itself.

Tips: Bring water, as there is no water on the trail. Wear shoes with good grip (several places are covered in loose gravel and stones, scree). Road is not cleared in winter, so if you go then you must snowshoe in from the base of Maple Canyon.

It was a short hike from the main parking lot in Maple Canyon. You must pay $3 to park at the lot. Be sure to take the middle fork trail, not the Left fork trail. There are signs that mark the way. There are fun climbing opportunities around and behind the arch.
