Overview: The Beach and Marsh Preserve are located 14.5 miles south of Half Moon Bay on HWY 1.

The Pescadero Marsh Natural Preserve is a refuge for blue heron, kites, deer, raccoons, foxes, and skunks.

Access this walk by turning inland at Pescadero Creek Road. There will immediately be a large turnout on the North side of the road. At the east end of this turnout, the trail head is the dirt park service road.

This site promises to be a birder's bonanza. An outstanding marshland example.

Tips: No dogs allowed.
