This series of walks has been produced by the Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Partnership with help from the Heritage Lottery Fund through the West Wight Landscape Partnership.
Explore the landscape of the West Wight area of the Isle of Wight and learn more about its natural and historic environment and culture.
From the sweeping views rolling of chalk downland with its rare wildflowers to the flat tranquillity of the estuaries incised into the northern coastline. From stories of our own Pied Piper to the landscape that inspired a Victorian Poet and the site of Britain's own Rocket Programme. From the ceremonial downland burial mounds to grand Jacobean Manors and C20th battery defence sites. There is so much to explore and learn about this fantastic area.
