Overview:
The Iron Gates Experience is a secluded and beautiful part of the Manawatu region. Its namesake is the Iron Gates Gorge, which has sheer cliffs and a powerful river pushing through the narrow gorge that guards the entrance to the nearby valley and farmland. The Gorge was named by the early settlers in this area.
