The Ice Age Trail is a thousand-mile footpath highlighting the remnants left behind by glaciers during the last ice age over 12,000 years ago. Designated as a National Scenic Trail, the Ice Age trail follows the terminal moraine of the last glaciation throughout Wisconsin providing some of the world's best examples of glacial formations such as kettles, moraines, and drumlins.

Clover Valley Trailhead

The Clover Valley segment begins here and enters the Clover Valley State Wildlife Area. There is a small grassy area with information kios.south of Island Road for parking.

This is an orphaned section of the Ice Age Trail-on road walking is required to connect with adjacent sections of the trail.

The Ice Age Trail: Whitewater Lake connects to the north in 5 miles. The Ice Age Trail: Storrs Lake Wildlife Area connects to the west in 9.3 miles.
