Overview:
Hells Revenge is rated as the top trail for many Utah ATV riders and is one of the top Moab ATV trails. The trail contains some long steep climbs on slickrock that are intimidating your first time on the trail. For Google Map directions to the trail head from Center St and Main in Moab Click Here
There are many optional obstacles on Hell's Revenge that advanced riders can test their skills on. Some of these obstacles include Hell's Gate, Tip-over Challenge, the Escalator, Rubble Trouble, and the Hot Tubs (aka Mickey's Hot Tub). Check out our video page to see some great footage of these obstacles. Several of the obstacles on this trail will leave you wondering how anyone ever thought of attempting the obstacle in the first place.
Tips:
There are some obstacles that you can opt out of and others that you are forced to tackle. Most of this trail is on slickrock (sandstone) mixed in with a lot of sand. Towards the end of the trail there are some good boulder fields that get a little tricky to navigate.
This is not a good first Moab area trail to ride. Riders that can tackle the obstacles on Finns & Things will still struggle with portions of this trail. We advise that first time riders go with someone who has ridden it before and carry a map.
This is another intimidating part of the trail, however if you are inexperienced DO NOT STOP.... Trust in your machine and climb at a steady pace, do not accelerate or slow down rapidly.
