Overview: The trails wind through old-growth forests of Douglas-fir, hemlock, and sugar pine, with trees often over six feet in diameter.

The crown jewel of the hike is majestic Fall Creek Falls, which is a great place to swim in the summer time.

You can get a view of Fall Creek Falls from the bottom, as well as another mid way up the falls, as well as a view from the top, as the trail leads up the canyon next to the waterfall.

Tips: To get here take Interstate I-5 to Roseburg exit 124 and follow Hwy 138 to milepost 32. You will find the Fall Creek Falls parking area to the north between milepost 32 and 33.

On rainy days, or if it has been raining recently, be prepared for muddy sections of the trail.

Be aware that there is a lot of poison oak, so don't wander off the trail.

In the summer, bring your swim wear to swim underneath the waterfall.

Combine this hike with a trip to Fern Falls and Susan Creek Falls for a full day of waterfall hikes.

There restrooms in their parking areas.

A one-mile trail passes through a narrow bedrock crevice and lush vegetation to Fall Creek Falls. It is a good walk for families with a few moderately steep climbs

Fall Creek Falls

Fall Creek Falls is a double falls with tiers
of 35 and 50-feet. In the summer it's a good place to cool off with a swim.

You can also take a trail up to a middle and upper section of the falls to get different views. Be careful though not to let children go around the fences, as it's a 50 foot drop, and slippery near the edge.

Jobs Garden

Along the trail to Fall Creek Falls there is a short hike marked Jobs Garden. There really isn't much to see here besides some basalt columns (which you can also see along the falls trail). Not really worth the extra hike, unless you are into geology.
