Espierba

Overview: We start the tour from the town of Espierba situated at 1350 m in the center of Valle de Pineta. Passed the village, heading West, left the car just before a ravine. Later, a sign reminds us that it is not allowed to drive motor vehicles on the track.
You must be careful to locate the path that is cut along a forest track on several occasions and there is not always the landmarks.
After walking in the woods we went to the meadow, we reached a little higher up the hill, since we shall see, the valley north of Chisago, the Pineta south, following the ridge to the east, the peak cooked (no path to the ). As the day remains partly-clear (threatening storm), go west, to Comodoto in the ridge of grass. The views are spectacular on both sides, the meadow and rocks are strewn with flowers.
After exceeding an area of ​​loose fine stone, reached the hill at the foot of Comodoto. We should have taken the path that goes up on our left by a grassy canal. Is late and gave up on and decided to climb down Comodoto towards the Estiva and La Larri. The election has been good, the path goes down among the rocks, well marked, without difficulty, to a beautiful valley suspended, probably some old ibón clogged. To the left and right the saxifrages cover the walls of limestone, we see a group of marmots, Edelweiss!., A yellow gentian. We arrived at the stowage, and saw the small pastoral refuge. The road winding down beside a small stream filled with flowers to join the track that takes us back to Espierba. A look at the stunning Cirque de Pineta, we see the Astazús, the Balcon de Pineta, Monte Perdido. At our feet, between the tavern and stones, there is a blanket of flowers of Aconitum.
We, the track is comfortable, fine ground stone slightly dampens our journey.
