Loved this hike, and it was the first one I have been on in over a year. The first chunk of it is very zigzag and is fairly steep. I have asthma so my lungs killed a bit, but I do cardio for half hour every other day with focus on legs strength and my legs were the only ones in the group not screaming. BUT IT IS WORTH IT! Because once you get to the top it is very flat and there is beautiful scenery!
Takes a couple of hours especially if you want to pack a lunch and eat in the picnic area! Highly suggested for everyone. Note, if you have easily rolled ankles, half of the flat ground(after the steep stuff) becomes very uneven because of rainwater run off... etchings? I don't know the right word. Point is, wear your braces if you need them!! Visited on Apr 07, 2013
Sorry to be critical but this trail cannot be completed in one hour (unless running). The average hiker travels at 2-3 miles per hour. Please plan accordingly and remember to bring water in the warm months. Visited on Sep 24, 2011
