Drift Creek Falls Today
In August of 2010 there was a rock slide causing the look of these falls to change forever. A mammoth boulder, 60 feet long and 20 feet wide, now lies at the bottom of Drift Creek Falls. The falls, which once traveled 73 feet into a “plunge pool,” now emerge in a rushing cascade about 65 feet above the creek bed. The ravine below and the opposite bank are littered with angular rocks of various sizes that have changed the flow and character of the creek bed.
