Overview:
An 18 mile circular cycle route which takes in Bowness, Winster Valley, Bowland Bridge, Crook and Borwick Fold.
This is a nice cycle ride on a busy Bank Holiday when other areas of the South Lakes are busy. The majority of the route is on quiet country lanes with open views toawards the Lake District Mountains.
Bowland Bridge is a quaint Lakeland village that time has forgotten. There is a little well stocked and very friendly Post Office and the Hare and Hounds pub with a lovely garden looking over the fields to the hills.
