Two miles up the trail it will split with you heading to climbers left up to Zeta Pass were you can access the Carter-Moriah Trail to nab both South and Middle Carter before returning to the Pass and then up Mt. Hight to Carter Dome. Mt. Hight is too close to Carter Dome to be considered a seperate 4,000 footer.
