Not many people come here as its mostly farmland and marshes. But you will find tons of small antique shops, fishing villages, and farm stores. Pick your own berries!
This is one of the unique finds, a small preserve that is seldom published.
The preserve has some nice water views and is a historic supply route for sailboats from offshore.
Very easy walking with several places to have a quiet lunch, you'll have the entire trail to yourself and the birds.
A possible Audubon area :-)
This is one of three hikes in the Virginia Peninsula Audubon bundle.
this is a point of a very old offload point for lumber and other supplies that would come up the bay and dropoff here....because the water was deep enough here until this point.
