Length: 5.1 miles / 8.2 km
Duration: Half day

Overview: This unmarked trail begins near the 50 year trail and you can drive most of the way to the trailhead by going east on Golder Ranch Road. At the end of the pavement, go through the cattleguard/gate, head north on the dirt road, and at the corral, turn east and follow this road until it becomes to rough to drive with a regular car. You should be near another cattleguard and fence. Walk on this road, heading southeast until it comes down to Sutherland Wash and look for the fence and gate across the wash where I have marked a waypoint. Follow this trail. We hiked on this trail until a ridge line about 2.3 miles distant. Return the same way.

Tips: Lots of great water in the stream this time of year.

This is a great hike--waterfall, pools, petroglyphs, and desert. It has it all.
