Overview:
Alamo Township Park is about 2.2 miles long and located near Alamo, Michigan. The trail is great for walking and normally takes 1 hour or less.
Nestled in deep woods, this park connects to the Kal-Haven Trail which joins Kalamazoo to South Haven. Less than two miles in length, the township trail crosses 5th street which has long been closed to traffic after the Pine Creek bridge was found to be unstable.
Trails and the bridge over the creek are named after long time residences.
Tips: Dogs are asked to be on leashes due to stray dogs in the area which have been problems in the past. A park ranger opens and closes the park daily.
