Overview: This is a pretty easy out in Point Reyes, California. It is a great place to go to a quiet beach if you aren't against having to hike a little bit for it. Along the way there are lots of flowers, wildlife, and nice view points of the lagoon.

Abbotts Lagoon Trailhead

The Trailhead has a parking lot with several parking spots and bathroom. There is a sign with a map and information about the trail.

A trail turns up the which is a good place if you want a more aerial view of the lagoon. But if you want to go to the beach keep going straight.

There is a bridge that crosses the lagoon that give a nice view of the lagoon in both directions.

Here there is a beach that stretches very far in both directions. Since it is a bit of the hike to this beach it is usually pretty empty. It is a great place to be if you want to go to the beach but don't want to worry about people.
