.A Nice Ride! This time we went out on all the special spots along this trail. Was well worth it in every way. The amount of land you are looking at across the bay is breathtaking not to mention the rolling foothills and patchy colors. Landmarks, bridges and citys that are know all around this planet. Anyone and Everyone will love this trail.-This trail can be cut altered several ways to make it longer or shorter.-Direct...
-We planned out this ride to expand on our Foothill Bell Ride. We'll planning on cycleing it tommorrow, but these gave us a chance to try out the Nearby Photo Function on Everytrail. Worked OK, by the way....!-Will post the actual ride tommorrow. Figuring a overall average of 8MPH with the hills and short stops. So approx 2 hrs from Start to End. -Ride SafeSandy and Steve-
-WOW ! This is the best long riding trail we have found in the area. We planned it out using an Everytrail trip we found. Decided to come back on the other side of the Natoma Lake created by the Nimbus Dam. -This trail is so extremely smooth. A bump here or there, but 99% perfect pavement. There are a few climbs. They don't last very long, and as long as you use your lower gears wishly,...
Lexington Reservoir to Hick Rd Trail.A nice Steep climb. It was just suppose to Shower. Turned out to be raining on most of our hike.We where going to do 3+ miles out and back just to check this trail out. But the rain would not let up and BIG BIRD started complaining about the steep climb. We decided to head back a little sooner then 1st planned. This is a Fire Road Trail. Nice...
Safe except for the drunk dirver we where following on the way home in the car. A "Where is a Cop when ya need one!" moment. Come to think of it... The Cop was actually a few miles back giving someone a traffic ticket. We found this ride on Everytrail this morning and wanted to do something different in the Livermore Wine Country area anyways. So we decided to give this one a try and document it a little better,...
. Another sweet trail ride found on Everytrail. Discovered it this morning and we headed up after morning coffee. Had Blue skies everywhere on the way up till we got 5 miles from this trail. It was a little overcast, but OK. But the clouds where moving really quick so it was cool to watch. :This seems to be a great hill training ride. The hill on the North End is tuff. But...
: The wife said the trails would be crowded today. And they where, on the Monday after Sunday, July 4th 2010 . We know most had the day off. Was Off Duty myself. Direct Link to Y Tube Presentation in HD & Fullscreen.:This time since we know the area, decided to just let the wind take us in any direction and log it for others to enjoy on Everytrail.com. As you can tell by everyones dress, it...
Came to Davis to visit my daughter who is here for a summer research program. Rented bikes and rode the Davis loop. This bike-friendly town has a well marked trail encircling it which is what this path follows. There is one point where we missed a turn and ended up riding out of town a bit. very nice though.
Garmin Legend HCx USB port went bad this morning.Have to send it out to be fixed. Darn-it.However we where able to ride and still get the info from the 1GB memory card. Was very cloudy today but the temps was nice.
Had a good ride this afternoon, after waiting 2 hrs for Nortan AntiVirus support people to uninstall their software and then they messing things up and it took another 2 hrs to solve those problems. Well everything is working well again and we finally got out for a ride around 2pm.Had to make some Correction to Elevation since it logged some wierd elevation when I 1st turned it on. I wasn't going to take any...
Another nice ride along the Los Gatos Trail. It's been cool and when we saw a break coming we got out there. Perfect timing, temp started to drop fast just as we got back to the car. Took some Video to continue to test out the new U tube function. This is a nice easy ride.

The StoryWe decided to check out "The Bike Connection" Bike store before biking.Very Nice Bikes and a very Clean store. As Normal...Prices on Cycling Jerseys (80-90) and Shorts (80-120) way overpriced. 190-210 for Shorts and Jersey set. 2 pair for the wife and it would be more...

Decided to head North this time from our normal Dell Ave parking place. Was a nice fast an easy ride today. We might not be the fastest couple out there, but we can feel the rides getting easier every time. Plus our bikes are not light, but durable. Wife is doing very well at trail cycling. She passes me all the time these days, You go Girl. Seems it was only yesterday, when...

We decided to try the North Side of this trail. Although it was gravel in many sections, it was smooth enough and no wheel slippage. Found a nice wind block, somebody built that was nice to sit behind and take in the view. So we eat our bananas and hydrated a little. On the way back the wind was on our backs and our speed really picked up. Click here for PIcasa...
Well I forgot to Turn the Track log ON, on my Garmin Etrex Legend HCx before we got started. However I followed this Pre-Loaded Track and it worked great. Also mounted the Camera on the Bike this time. Unfortunately it vibrated way to much to share the Video, However I was able to get some stills from the video that are So So. Tommorrow we will fix that problem. We avoid heavy traveled roads as...
It was Presidents Day and lots of folks enjoying their day off with the family.
We left the house at 12pm and got home at 5pm. We road hard and with the great weather and fresh air, we where both out like a light by 8:30PM.
It looks like there is a path on other side of the creek, however it didn't look paved.
Only 3 unplanned stops. Wife and I both had some Bike...
