A lovely 2-3 hour walk with fantastic views along the way. This area is very beautiful, my iPhone camera does not do it justice.
Sections 3 and 4 of the Hong Kong Trail start in the forest north of Aberdeen and ends at Wong Nai Chung. We hiked along the trail on the opposite direction.To find the beginning (Or rather end) of section 4 is a bit tricky. Do not take the obvious road down the hill as we did go into the more urban road a bit to the north and go untill you see...
The trail take us around Tai Tam lake. It travels on the top of the mountains surrounding the lake where you have a grate view of both Tai Tam lake and Hong Kong island. Then the trail gos down to the the lakes over one huge dam and under a smaller one where some times spill water is flawing over the dam.
From there we continue along a paved road to the beginning...

Get off the bus at "Country Park" station. Beware of slippery rocks when the day is rainy. Green mini-bus at Ho Pui Village to go back to Yuen Long
