[iPhone] Zooming in causes track to disappear

I usually create a trip in Google Maps, convert it via a GPS Visualizer, and then import a .gpx-file to the Everytrail site. On my Iphone app (3GS, Pro version of the app) I get the route that I can then follow.

Since a few weeks (or longer, but I didn't notice it before) I have a very annoying problem: on certain zoom levels the route disappears. I'll try to explain it with two screenshots. The first is on a high zoomlevel, you can see the route highlighted in red. The second one is zoomed in a bit on the same route, but the red line completely disappears.




Everytrail was the perfect app for me, preparing routes on my PC, and then follow them with my iPhone, but now it's almost worthless; detailed junctions etc. are not shown...

I've deleted and reinstalled the app, but this doesn't change anything.

I have now also re-installed the complete iPhone, and sadly it still happens. With and without jailbreak...

Can someone confirm this problem, or am I the only one experiencing it? It's getting really annoying, I was going to use it on my holiday next week

We have also observed this issue when displaying tracks on the Google maps in the iPhone app. We have successfully created a fix that we will try to include in either the next version of the app or the one directly after. Sorry for the inconvenience. For the time being the workaround is to use the OpenStreet maps at high zoom levels.

Just bringing this back up. I've been away a year or so, tried to use EveryTrail Pro with my new IPhone 4S and have the same issue as the original poster. I did activate Streets with no improvement.

When I zoom-in to a walkable altitude the route disappears.

Any updates or additional advise?
