Iphone 3GS - Tracking Problem

Hi,

I'm using an iphone 3GS on my MTB. I tried to follow some trails, I uploaded to EveryTrail, which worked quite well.

Now I wanted to create a trip on myself. In the beginnig everything works perfect, but after 2-3 kilometres, EveryTrail stops recording the trip. The "red line" stops and the actual position moves on. The problem is, that EveryTrail doesn't show the recording as "paused". I then tried to pause it and resume again, but it didn't work. It's like it can't find a GPS-signal. I tried several times. Always the same problem. It sometimes looks, like the App hung up.

After I read some discussions on the latest update, I deleted the App yesterday and downloaded/installed it again, but it didn't work. Still the same problem today.

It would be great, if anybody could help. Are there any specific settings, you would recommend for the iphone used on a MTB? Besides this, I think that EveryTrail is a great App!

I wonder what the solution to this problem is. Because I have a Galaxy Note and have the same problem.
In the beginning everything is ok and then the tracking stops. I finish the track, save it and then resume. That I do very often and that works but this is not the way it should be, I think. I allready lost a few tracks before I do the finish-resume trick
If you could help me it would be great.
