iOS 4 multi-tasking?

Looks like it's completely broken right now. If I exit the app and try to go back, it fails to open the app again. I'm guessing I have to restart the phone to be able to open the app again.

This issue is related to a change that was included in the new iOS 4 that affects the way pictures are saved to the iPhone's file system. We have submitted a new version to Apple that solves the problem and also takes advantage of the new multi-tasking on the iPhone. Hopefully Apple will approve our submission swiftly.

Just wondering if you have heard anything about update being approved. Going on a big walking weekend this week. My Trusty app ain't working. Please Please can you put up some update's

The free version was approved yesterday, and the Pro version is in review. If it is not improved in time, you can download the free version for your trip, although you will not be able to record video.

O well, Just used app with my new iPhone 4, the GPS capture is 100 times better. Didn't get any drift off lines. Used to get a load with my old 3G phone. Everytrail just get better and better. Next week hopefully can capture some HD video to go with my walk.

Are you considering being able to let the program run in the background? Or at least have an option to allow you to do that?

The current app is able to run in the background if you have iOS 4 installed.

Got the EveryTrail IOS compat version via app store.
this rocks!! Kudos and thanks to the developers. it works perfectly.

Is anyone else having issues with the app crashing when "multitasking"? If I switch to answer a quick text message and switch back to everytrail, sometimes it is fine but sometimes it goes to the main everytrail screen and loses the prior info. I thought it was because I was switching to a geocaching and/or gowalla app which uses the GPS but it did it today when I switched to the text messaging app.

iOS 4.0.2 and everytrail 4.2.1
