iPhone photo location data missing

It seems that when you take photos from within the iPhone app, the normal iPhone photo location information is either not saved or it is erased. When viewing my photos, if I compare photos take outside of the app with those taken from within the app, the difference is that the latter do not have location information. Is this a setting in EveryTrail, an deliberate feature, or a bug?

Afaik it is a feature. I would really like to see Everytrail saving photo location to camera roll photos.

Previously iPhone apps were not able to save photos with location to camera roll. However, this has not been the case for more than year or two. Nowadays apps should be allowed to save photos with location to camera roll.

Also some other feature updates would be nice. Unfortunately there haven't been many updates to iPhone app lately. I'm not feeling very positive that Everytrail would enhance anymore However, it is still the best app+website for sharing and planning trips that I'm aware of.
