Recently got the g1 android phone and I'm super stoked on the everytrail application. Here are a few suggestions in case they are helpful for a future non-free release?
-Save photos to SD card. It's always fun to check out phone photos after you take them.
-Also, a couple times the photos didn't come out as well as I'd hoped. It would be nice to have the option to review photos on the phone while a trip is recording, and delete the bad ones.
-Map view while tracking. It would be nice to flip between the trip statistics and the map-track views to see how well the track is recording. (Even if the map can't load and you can just check out the track).
-Save trips on the phone, so that they can be reviewed after recording (both tracks and photos) without an internet connection.
-Finally, it would be super cool if there was a mobile (non-flash) version of the website so that we could review the trip from our phones.
I think you should sell a version of everytrail that includes some of these features. I would be happy to support your project.
