Easier way to see or switch between stats/map

For the Android (pro) app, I find it difficult to switch between the map and the stats view. I have several clicks at the top of the screen to find and display stats. Seems like I forget how to do this and also it is hard to do when on the move. Can you add the stats to the map? Or can you make a gesture or an icon to switch back and forth?? Also, I have two arrows at the bottom right of my map view screen...they do not function. Every time I see them I think they are for switching views, but they never do anything. What are they for?

Those 2 arrows are for switching between the selected picture (or POI for guides). We plan to release a cleaner version of the EveryTrail apps in the near future to address most of these problems.
