Installed and tested a few driving trips. I have a Garmin Asus A10 (smaller res of 320x480). I notice Everytrail does not auto rotate display to landscape in map mode while moving.
The buttons on the map display for centering current position, zoom in and out, start, resume tracking is a bit too small. Please consider bigger buttons in next revision release for map orientation to direction of travel. Also consider option to allow centre, zoom in /out buttons, options (layer selection) button to be align to either user preference left or right side of the display (whether in landscape or portrait mode).
Country I am in is "right hand" drive so GPS is located on left of steering, as such one will use the left hand for quick access to the buttons. Doing so will allow one to see the map without moving the hand away and re-target the finger especially zoom in/out. Likewise for the options button (layer) for switching between map or satellite. Preference is for buttons to be align from the bottom . So one could pivot fingers on the dashboard surface and tapping the interface with quick side glance to the display while moving.
