Can't get a keyboard on Iphone 4S

I can't get the keyboard to pop up when trying to enter text in the "Story" or "Tips" screens.
I can double tap the screen and get a cursor to display, but no keyboard...
Am I doing something wrong??

I'm having the same problem. I used to be able to see the keyboard in the story and trip tips section but for a few months now it hasn't been working. At least you're able to see the cursor...I can't see anything except for the text box..it's empty.

Kinda frustrating cuz it used to work and I really like this app. I switched over to RunKeeper for a day and it's just not the same.
Is the story and tips keyboard entry a paid feature or something?

I was having this same issue with the last version, but I had the cheapest voip phone that I got from http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/VOIP+Phones, and I have not yet upgraded. Does the new version have this fixed? Thanks.
