Can I display elevation information?

Hello,

I would like to know if I can get elevation information for my route. I have made a route using google maps, and imported the KML file into everytrail. I was hoping that doing so would allow me to see elevation information for my route. But I cannot figure out how or where that information would possibly be at. Is it not available for KML files? I am looking for a graph with the x axis being distance and the y axis being elevation.

If you made the map on google maps, I don't believe elevation data is added to the file.
