Can I Correct an error in Speed graph

Postby stewpot47 on Thu Dec 29, 2011 5:07 am

Hi :D

I love this App and website, excellent work. :ugeek:

We have a few trips uploaded and are pleased with them.

My wife did a ride this morning and there is a problem on the uploaded trip it shows that at one point she was riding at over 50km per hour. :?:

I wonder if there is any way of correcting this error? :?:

Thanks in advance

It looks like the GPS wasn't very accurate at that point, which probably accounts for the spike. If you go to edit map you should be able to edit the map and place it back on the main road.

Hi Chris

I am not sure if you will see this post added to an old post.

We use Everytrail for a lot of Horse riding trips.

We still have the problem with the incorrect GPS points both in speed and elevation.

Normally I can edit and delete a group of points which I identify by using the graph. an locating a point that shows the horse doing 90 kmh.

However it id NOT easy!

The switch between the normal view and the edit view looses the graph where you can identify the error point and delete it.

Is there anyway you can add the graph feature to the edit feature?

This has become a more significant problem as we have been asked to Use Everytrail to check a route out for a formal endurance. these have to be accurate and we of course have doubts as a result of the erroneous speeds and elevations.

I took two devices out the other day to check if the problem was with a single device but the both had the same problems.

Also I wonder if you can recommend the settings for horse riding?

Best regards from France
