Will not upload- "The internet connection appears..."

1st gen Moto Droid, Android 2.2.2. EveryTrail was working fine for about two weeks, now does not upload at all, right after it starts to create GPX file it says:

"Connection Error: The internet connection appears to be offline"

...it most definitely is not offline. And then it either reverts to an older trip I have saved, or force closes. Not cool.

This does this via 3G or Wifi

Hi Jared,

Thanks for your feedback. You should try to reboot your phone and try again.
Also make sure you have the last version of EveryTrail 3.6.2

Hi, I have Android 2.1, with EveryTrail 3.7.0. I've just installed it and tried to upload a few trips. 1st trip uploaded fine - with 4 photos. Second trip uploaded, but with errors ("The internet connection appeared to be offline"). Only a couple of the 9 photos uploaded. No other trip would upload. Sometimes I get the error (The internet.....) quite early in the upload and sometimes late on. However, the results are the same - no trip uploaded. I deleted the 1st and 2nd trips and tried again (synchronise). They started to upload and I got the same error again, even with the trip I had initially uploaded successfully.

I've tried this using WiFi and 3G. I know the WiFi connection is fine as I can use it at the same time for other apps.

Any thoughts?

I have the same problem, with the exact version 3.7.0. I also try remove previous trips, but the error is the same.
There is any Workaround to upload trips, or to share to facebook?

One thing you can try is to do a long click on the "synchronize" button. It is going to ask you if you want to re-upload your trip, click yes. Hopefully your trip will upload normally.

I am having the same problem and don't have the synchronized long click option. Only save and share. I have uploaded several trips with no past issues. Please help. Version 3.8.2

I have the same problem, and i try to 'synchronize' several times...
But It always occur at upload phouo #28 (I have 31 photos in this trip)
Help!
Could I just upload trip gpx ? or how to find the gpx file on my phone?

Please help me! I have the same error "connection error: the internet connection appears to be offline". I am not offline for sure: 4G and WIFI. It's first time when I tried to use this mobile app. Before I used My Tracks and then uploaded recorded tracks to every Trail. I wish I did it today too. So upset. Please please help me. I tried to restart phone "HTC Sensation" it didn't help, app version is 3.8.4

Exactly the same problem with version 3.8.4. The connection drops every time after 15 minutes of upload. No messages explaining why or which picture was being uploaded. This is Samsung Galaxy S2. There is nothing wrong with the WiFi connection: the phone was next to access point and connection bars were certainly all full.

Please provide update to the software to give better diagnostic messages; in detail.
