I created a Picasa web album with geotagged images. From my Picasa album I can downloaded a kml file to my PC.
Then I used Google Earth to open it, and also opened a gpx file of the trail I was on.
It all looks good. I can then save this map with gps track and images as a new kmz file.
When I upload this to EveryTrail it shows a red waypoint marker on my trail for every image.
When I continue on to "Add Pictures and Videos", it says "There are no photos or videos in this trip yet, please upload or import some."
When I view my trip I see the expected gray squares on my trails where the images should be, but there aren't any images shown.
The "fix" is to then add my Picasa photos through EveryTrail.
Couldn't EveryTrail be changed to see that my uploaded KMZ had links to picasa images and simply automatically (or given me the choice to) upload these images right away?
