software that will convert a .nmea to .GPX file

Does anyone know of software (freeware) that will convert a .nmea to .GPX format.
My POS GPS only allows me to download tracks in .nmea format which makes it EXTREMELY difficult to stitch together tracks.

Yes, we can! If you go to create trip, you can upload the file there and it will create a trip with it. If you want the .gpx file, you can then download it by clicking the link on the view trip page.

I'm looking for download-able (stand alone) software.
The Evertrail and GPSvisualiser upload/download thing works poorly at best.

Try GPS babel, that is what we use to simplify and convert files.
