Difference between free and pro

I can't find any information on what the differences between the free and the pro version are.
The blog is dead too, which from a potential customer point of view is not a good sign.
Plus I find lots of problem posts when I search for the pro version details -- also not a good sign.

I haven't used the free app yet, going to try it when I'm out riding later today, but...
Could someone give me some peace of mind about the pro version?

What exactly does it do that the free one doesn't?

Or, if there is a better app for the UK, please point me at it.

The Pro app lets you use live tracking, sync more trips, and has no ads.
