Easy hike from the bechler ranger station through lodge pole pines and willows until you hit the meadows. At the river crossing there is a suspension bridge you may cross to continue on. Plenty of birds and deer. Tons of other trails to hike as well.
Nice hike to Dunanda Falls in Southwest Yellowstone Park. Relaxing dip in hot pools at the base of the falls. Took a short side trip to the base of a small un-named water fall downstream from Dunanda for some swimming. Did not see much in the way of wildlife, unless you count the millions of mosquitoes.
