Geocaching on the Hillsborough river (near Trout Creek). Perfect weather (80F with a slight breeze). Saw tons of large gators, they were out of the cold water enjoying the warm sun and breeze.

First I will say this; Flatwoods is a huge piece of property! There is the actual Flatwoods Park off of Morris Bridge Rd where you can access an 8 mile paved loop and a 15 mile un paved loop. Decided to do a little fishing today. Me and a friend went up a creek that is close to the Trout Creek put in on the Hillsborough River. I was bummed that my Sunday plans to canoe feel through but I had to get out of the house. Me and Koda split for a short hike. All I wanted was to hang my hammock and drink some Miller Lights while enjoying the breeze. Mission accomplished!
