The most famous hike in Watertons Lake NP. You have to reach the trailhead by ferry boat, so you are limited in your time cause there is only one one boat in the morning to get you over the see and another in the evening to get you back. In the high season there are two boats in the morning or in the evening to get all the hikers across to this...
This is one of the best day hikes for views in Waterton Lakes National Park, as almost half of the trail's length is through sub-alpine or alpine terrain. From Carthew Summit, the vista extends south to teal-blue lakes and snow-clad peaks in Glacier National Park, USA. North of the summit, you descend into a dramatic landscape featuring the Carthew Lakes nestled in red and mauve colored rock. The best way to do...
Short walk on the Bear's Hump. Starting at the Waterton Lakes visitor center a steep track leads to the bear's hump where you can enjoy a great view on the lanscape of Waterton Lakes NP
A nice and spectacular walk in the evening. Lots of people, but its really worth going there.
Wall Lake is the most popular hike in Akamina-Kishinena Park. This lake has a breathtaking setting beneath sheer limestone rock walls. The large snow fields located at the north end of the lake are visible into midsummer add a wonderful contrast to the deep green of the lake and forest. Up top is the Akamina Ridge another hike in this area.

Long one day hiking.By vehicle from Swiftcurrent, Glacier National Park, USA.
A nice half day walk to Bertha Lake in the Waterton Nation Park. This very popular hike is usually very busy so you better go early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds.Trail head is at the south side of Waterton Township behind the camping. Seems difficult to find, as losts of people including me had to ask for the exact starting point.
A short walk to small Akamina lake starting at Cameron lake parking.
