Hike from St.Mary's place, along power lines to Baden Powel, to Dreamweaver which then turns into Mosquito Creek trail to the Grouse Road. From Grouse Road down hertiage creek trail, onto BP and back
Pretty easy hike up along old logging roads, then a well-marked trail. We left things a bit late to get much further along the ridge -- and ended up doing the last 40 minutes of the descent in the dark. But it was a beautiful sunny day with great views and quite a few other hikers along the route. Jan's boots didn't fit very well and she ended up losing her big...
Round trip starting on Baden-Powell Trail on Mt Fromme, down to Lynn Valley, up to the Falls, and back.
Angry Midget - A twisty turny technical trail that crosses half nelson to become speed ball. Accessed by riding up Ring Creek road and continuing past Half Nelson.Ends on Ring Creek Road. This loop starts at the intersection of Garibaldi road and Ring Creek road.
Hiked up and camped just east of Panorama Ridge for the night... great view of Edge Peak. Woke up and hit the summit although it was completely socked in and no view this time... very busy trail this weekend!
This is a short (6+km) hike between the four lakes: Alice, Stump, Fawn and Edith in Alice Lake provincial park. It is located 10km north from Squamish, BC. The route is family friendly. There is a bit of a climb between Alice lake and Stump lake but overall it is farely easy.

The only problem was that although it is late July, there is still a lot of snow near the top of the mountain. So, there was a significant portion of the trail that was snow and we weren't prepared for that.It was still possible...
This trip starts at the Mamquam FSR or Garibaldi Park Road. From the road you go down Another Man's Garbage, cross at the Darwin Bridge, then down the powerhouse plunge to the next main gravel road. From there you head to the trail head of Hoods in the Woods and finish at the University. For a video of Hoods in the Woods check out:http://www.vimeo.com/11191877
This is a good alternative to the overhyped Grouse Grind trail - it's almost the same length, with the same gruelling elevation gain in a relatively short distance. You start on the grind trail, then veer off to the right on the Baden-Powell trail about 10 minutes into it, then start following the BCMC (British Columbia Mountaineering Club) signs until you get to the top...From the top, its just a few minutes on...
