With three weeks until the Tokyo Marathon 2010, I go for my longest run yet - 41.4km around the Yamanote railway line which circles central Tokyo.
Running alone, I listened to Haruki Murakami short stories the whole way to help distract me from the trauma of running for almost 5 hours!

Cycling trip with Kosaka san to Haneda Airport, located in the Tokyo Bay. The first time I will be cycling along Tama river downstream. For years I have been cycling into the mountains surrounding the Okutama area, now I took a road bicylce from Europe home, time is in to make it all the way to the seaside.
河川探訪 14: 新中川 江戸川サイクリングロードを走っていたら、新しい瑞穂大橋の桁が架かっていたので気まぐれで新中川の橋を全部撮影してみることにした。
Mount Takao - Wikipedia高尾山に紅葉狩りに行ってきた。都営新宿線の本八幡から直通の急行で高尾山口へ（本八幡〜高尾山口） 今回のコースは。 高尾山山頂へは稲荷山コースで尾根沿いを選んでみた。 こちらの人出はそれほどでもなくマイペースで気持ちよく歩ける。 5号路に来たところで時計回りに5号路を一周、ここは更に人は少ないかも。 稲荷山コースへ戻り最後の階段を登って山頂へ。 ここで休憩後もみじ台を見物し再度山頂でまた一休み。 下りは1号路を選択したが、薬王院の階段では渋滞までしてる混雑振り...混雑は嫌なので浄心門まで下りたところで右手へ折れ2号路を経由し琵琶滝へ。 このルートは人出も少なく写真を撮りつつ下る。 その後は6号路を下ってケーブルカーの清滝駅脇を通り高尾山口駅へ。 帰りは高尾山口〜小川町。小川町で降りて「神田まつや」へ

甲州街道の鎌倉街道入口から、鎌倉古道を辿って中野まで。実は、甲州街道にある鎌倉街道入口はこんな風に北へ延びていたようです。鎌倉街道より南は現在調査中。登戸からここに至ったというのは確かなのですが、どのルートを通ったのかが不明。GPSログ作成&写真撮影はすべてiPhone 3Gです。
以前、多摩川サイクリングロードの右岸を探訪した時に、浅川サイクリングロードを少しだけ走ったことがありましたが、今日は、その浅川サイクリングロードを完走してきました。稲城北緑地公園をスタートして多摩川サイクリングロードから浅川サイクリングロードに入ります。川は広くありませんが、よく整備されており、ロングランも出来るなかなか穴場的なサイクリングロードです。でも、ロードバイク用というよりは、クロスバイク向けでしょうか。
都民の日は入園料 無料 とのことで家族で 葛西臨海水族園 に行ってきた。TOKYO SEA LIFE PARK
