Onderdeel van het Noord-Hollandpad.Altijd leuk om met de veerpont vanaf Den Helder naar Texel te varen. Met de bus gaan we verder naar ons startpunt bij De Cocksdorp. Het eerste deel van de wandeling tot aan De Waal is grotendeels over grasdijken met schapen en lammeren. Vanaf De Waal tot aan de haven van ‘t Horntje is de wandeling gevarieerder.
