This famous ski resort in New Mexico is a favorite of travelers for its quaint charm in that many of the buildings make it resemble a Swiss Village. It was additionally renowned for being one of the only ski resorts in North America that until 2008 prohibited snowboarding. The ski school in Taos is world famous and gets participation from even the most advanced skiiers.
