By flight to Lukla with main view of Namche Bazzar, Khumjung Sherpa Village, Views of Everest and Khumbu Ice fall from Kalapathar, Close views of Ama Dablam and several high Himalayan peaks, Thyangboche monastery, Sherpa heartland .Everest base camp trek is a great opportunity to reach to the very base of the third pole. Main trek destination for its bizarre variations, difficulties and adventurous approach along with the loyal and friendly Sherpa inhabitants, Everest Base Camp Trek has been one of the most famous trekking destinations since the very first expedition to Everest Summit in 1953 by Sir Edmond Hilary and Tenzing Norgey. Almost every human dream of conquering the Everest but only a few can, but our Everest base camp trekking can take you very close to your dream of conquering the Everest. Every foot of this trek will be an adventure and fun is equal ratio. We will be travelling through the crown of the world, through the forest of, magnolia, giant firs and rhododendron. We will travel at a high altitude viewing and admiring the view if the Everest and head towards the Thyangboche Monastery, which takes around 2 hour of climbing. Standing at the height of 3867m, this monastery is located at the top of the ridge and surrounded by beautiful forest of dwarf figs and rhododendron.
This place presents best of itself in the morning, with a spellbinding surmise and proof of purity in the world. From here we will descend to ImjaKhola and head on to the villages of Pangboche and Pheriche and finally get to the Khumbu Glacier after a few hours of trekking. We will then follow the glacier ahead to reach Lobuche, stop for some click and admiration of views of the AmaDablam, Taweche along with some other mountains, and finally hike to GorakShep.
From here can ascend to Kala Pattar at the height of 5554m and to the Everest Base camp. Trek to Kala Pattaris a hard trekking, it fatigues you, makes your lungs cry out loud for more oxygen till you get acclimatized but once you reach there, you will feel all the trouble getting there was worth it. After spending plenty time to admire and capture the beauty of the Everest we will then descend to Everest Base Camp region at the foot of Khumbu ice fall, spend some time there and finally trek down making our way back to Lukla.

Lobuche Peak Expedition

A Winter ascent in Solu Khumbu is something special because of the low temperatures (minus 35 centigrade at 5000m) and the lack of the usual crowds trekking. We (5 Nepalese and one European) took the usual Everest Base Camp trail from Lukla to Namche and then via Tengboche Monastery to Periche and Dughla. Here we went up the trail to ChoLa and deviated to establish Lobuche Base Camp at 5000m. From there...

Recently we returned from a four-day trek with a friend in the Annapurna Himalayan range. Boasting spectacular scenery, rugged terrain and extremely welcoming locals, I've never visited another place on earth like Annapurna.
Helping us get the most out of our trek was our friendly and knowledgeable guide Sanjib Adhikari, a specialist trekking guide and expedition organizer based in Thamel, the bustling heart of Kathmandu. He skillfully guided us across treacherous mountain passes, pointed out the rich variety of flora we passed and, in the evening after hiking, served our meals and played cards with us.
Knowing that there are quite a few other less capable and experienced guides than Sanjib, I'd certainly recommend him to other trekkers. His website is: www.nepalguideinfo.com www.hikehimalayas.com

This is one of the best treks in my life so far. The beauty of the vistas above 4000m are hard to describe and my photos really doesn't do this place justice. I recommend this trek to anyone interested in seeing some of the largest and tallest mountains without having to spent a small fortune on an organized expedition. The trails are well marked and often include stairs and solid new bridges. The lodging is good and plentiful.

Silvana Pagani from Italy wrote in 2011 about her experience in Nepal with guide, Sanjib Adhikari:

This year at the end of February I went in Nepal for 18 days for the second time and I did a small trek in the Annapurna region. I went to visit Pokhara, Kathmandu, Bakthapur and Nagarkot and I saw the National Park of Chitwan and in this trip I had the pleasure to meet Sanjib Adhikari. He is an ind...ependent trekking guide and tour operator in Nepal and he has already obtained trekking guide license from the ministry of tourism, government of Nepal.

In his work Sanjib is a person very responsible and serious, very helpful and attentive to his customers, he knows very well the mountain because he has many years of experience and is also an excellent guide for visiting the cities. He is someone very competent in his work and always ready to find the best solution, if necessary and speaks English very well. During the trekking and the tours he will tell you many interesting things about culture, about life in the villages, mountains, history and traditions in Nepal.

The best thing is that Sanjib loves his country very much and loves his work and always manages to convey all his enthusiasm with simple ways and always with the smile. He is a very nice person and is always attentive to the needs of his customers. Sanjib is also very funny and after this experience we became a very good friend. Next year at the end of January I will return for the third time in Nepal and Sanjib will be again my guide.

For these reasons I am very glad to report all references of Sanjib.
