San Jose Ca Running Trips
The Stanford Dish loop is a good run. The path is paved, but very steep at times (see the elevation profile!).
This time, on a nice, cool September evening, I ran the extended loop, which is about 5.6 miles. When you reach the dish itself, turn left (if running clockwise) to the Alpine Rd entrance, and then trurn around to climb back up.

Start by crossing pedestrian bridge above Highway 101, this time i followed trail at backside of corporate offices on Embarcadero, then around duckpond, to end of pier and back, around Palo Alto airport and municipal golf course.
Favorite place to detox and stay fit
Nice run along the San Francisco bay with Andre and Guy, who are training for the Silicon Valley marathon on Oct 29. We ran back the same way.
The difference in vegetation and wildlife between Stanford (just a couple miles away) and the bayside is striking. No palm trees here...
A run in the Baylands near Palo Alto with Elad and Guy.
