I went hiking with the family this weekend, and met up with some other friends. We were looking for a nice hike, that was easy enough for a couple of 2.5 year olds, and had a waterfall at the end. Hiked from Hogpen Gap on the Richard Russell Scenic Hwy south on the Appalachian Trail to the Whitley Gap Trail. Took it up over the summit of Wildcat Mountain then on down to the A.T. Shelter at Whitley Gap.
Hiked up Cowrock Mountain via the Appalachian Trail from Tesnatee Gap. Then proceeded down the south face of the mountain to more cliffs with great views.
