Did this with old mountaineering skis. Pretty thrilling at times with leather boots and skinny sticks. And I admit I carried them down the steeper parts. The extra loop and backtracks are because I was looking for the yak tracks I left behind while post holing this route four days ago.The section of trail with a new footbridge over Woods creek is new to me.
