Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and one of the most popular cities in Central Europe.  With great history, several unique districts, opera, and nightlife, it is a great place to visit if you have a few days.  While there, be sure to walk across the Charles Bridge, Visit Prague Castle, and stop in the main square to see the Astronomical Clock performance at the top of every hour.

For my last day I went to see everything left that I wanted to see. This included St. Vitus cathedral (with a great view from the top) and the rest of the Old town and Jewish Quarter.

It is time to go home.  For our last few hours of the morning in Prague before we left for the airport, we went for a tour of the Jewish quarter / Josefov. At sunrise, I went for a walk across the Charles Bridge / Karlův most.  It was a cool morning and mist from the river was covering the bridge.  I was still able to take some nice pictures of the statues,...

Prague is beautiful every time a year, so don't hesitate to go there - it is worth it (even taking into consideration the cold and strong wind in march) :)

I love this country, and Prague, so very much. There isn't a street you cannot cross without observing historical buildings, statutes, and more. Wear sneakers! Wear cute flats for nights on the town or consider breaking an ankle on the cobblestones. Although the Czechs do speak some English, bring a map and language book. Do not fear ... other thank pick pockets... its a safe place to travel There are some very expensive places, but they also have cheap flats, hostels, etc. Don't think you will see it all in a day or a week! I've been here four months I am still exploring..

Saludos.

I absolutely LOVED prague, and I know few people (if any) who didn't love it as well. I went to Prague over Thanksgiving while I was studying in Berlin for a quarter. Over 4 days I tried to see everything possible: old town, new town, jewish quarter, castles, bridges, dancing house, museums, food, pilsner--every thing. I don't think there was a single thing I did in Prague that I didn't like, except leave.
